Just today, Jan reiterated the lie that we are producing more oil than ever before! Fact is we’re 1.3 M barrels/day less than the all time high. Biden blames the Ruskies for the high price of gas. Psaki keeps saying there are 9000 oil leases that are not being used—she does’t tell you that that number was cut down from 40K ala Biden. Also the regulations put in place make it nearly impossible for new exploration. We cut our oil purchases from Russia today (the right call), but Biden made sure we understood that he wasn’t going to open the US oil tap. Hopefully we can get Iran or Venezuela to give us more oil.
