FOOTBALL Why does Mizzou have no $$$

Regardless of who you want to be the next football coach, why is it that Arkansas can offer $6 mil a year and Mizzou cannot or will not? It is not as simple as poor attendance.
It just seems that Missouri does not have many boosters with DEEP pockets. My question is why not.
