Owners and the union wait until spring training to work on contract negotiations!?
Sports unions and management can be real pains when it comes to union agreements between owners and managers. Why do they wait until the last few days in the off season to work out issues when they've had years (since 2017) to work on the next CBA. How can an entity this large be so poorly managed/run if every 5 years you run the risk of a lockout?
