Looking back on last years recruiting it seems odd that we brought in so many guards (Pickett, Watson, Pinson, Smith, Smith) and only one bigger guy (Santos). Obviously, wed be in better shape if Puryear or Santos were turning a tap, that's the position we're really lacking. My question is where do we go from here? I know we've got Jackson coming in, hes a good looking athlete but is going to be a freshman. Maybe Santos can improve, its not out of the question for guys to get better from one year to the next...especially when hes dealt with an injury all preseason and has now had a chance to acclimate himself to SEC play. Surely with one of our open scholarships we will look at somebody that's in the 6'6-6'9 range. it seems like every other SEC team has 2-3 of these guys that are very athletic. I'm curious if we can find a couple of them before next season, I know there are some unsigned guys and maybe some guys will pop open in cases where they're committed somewhere that a coach gets fired.
