After attending Mizzou Madness Saturday afternoon and then checking the Women's schedule, why wouldn't it make marketing sense to schedule a women's and men's on the same Saturday sometime?
Not as a double header, I realize there would be seating and parking overlaps with season ticket holders. But play one game at noon and one at 6 pm or so. As an out of towner, I would stay for (or come early for) a women's game. Opportunity to go shopping, tour campus, grab a meal between games.
Seems like a way to get the women more exposure from people who probably aren't going to travel 100 miles plus just for the women.
As an aside, while checking the schedule I see the Lady Tigers play the Bears in Springfield on a Sunday afternoon in November. I will take the granddaughters to watch that game.
