Cierra Porter had 27 points, Jordan Frericks added 18 of her own, and Missouri ended its three-game losing streak by beating Florida 66-64 tonight.

Offense was pretty stagnant (except for Porter) until late in the second half, but the Tiger defense got it done in the final 12 seconds.

Florida coach Cameron Newbauer talking now: "So proud of our kids and the fight they showed against a No. 15 team on the road."

Newbauer says the game plan was to take away Cunningham and Aldridge because they're "the ringleaders" of this team. But Porter and Frericks came up big for the Tigers tonight.

Newbauer was really impressed with the amount of Mizzou fans that came up to him after the game and said good job.

Robin Pingeton now talking with us, along with Frericks and Porter.

RP: "That 'tough stretch' isn't over yet. Florida has hung in every game, and they did that tonight."

RP: "You can say that you can keep perspective, but losing is hard. There's always a seed in the back of your head that's a little bit of self-doubt. But we've been in enough of these situations that we work too hard to lose another close game."

Frericks: "I think one of our goals this game was to go inside-out, and first quarter I might have gotten in my head a little bit. But coach and my team picked me up and I was able to come out with a little more confidence."

Frericks on Porter: "I'm just excited to have her inside and draw that defense. And getting the ball to her to finish inside is so exciting."

Pingeton pats Frericks on the back after a reporter mentions that Cunningham and Frericks stayed out of foul trouble.

CP: "It was a good feeling. Kind of been in a little slump lately, but tonight was great."

CP: "We knew we needed to win this one. We have to approach each game like it's the biggest game of the season."

CP: "We were determined for that last play. We were not going to lose this game. It sucks we went through those three losses, but it helped us tonight."
