Let me say, I've never criticized Coach for his coaching abilities and I won't start now. My biggest issue has always been the notion that he's this elite recruiter when evidence suggests otherwise. My issues has always been lack of talent, skill-wise and the need to recruit projects. You've been a head coach for ten plus years, you should have enough skin in the game to not have to go that route. I said Mario was a bad fit for two years and guess what, he's still a bad fit now. Part of the reason he looks out of control when he's in the game is because no one can or won't run with him.
This team is so flawed it's not funny. We have no go to scorer on the team. Say what you will about Geist, but he wanted the ball when it mattered. Didn't matter if he made or missed the shot, he stepped up to take it. There's no leader on this team, at all. With all that being said, I still can't believe how quick y'all turn on coaches. Maybe my problem is I'm too loyal to folks and that's why I was ride or die with Odom. But honestly, I don't know any other way to be. I still rock with Coach Cuonzo and believe eventually he'll get things together, despite the loss last night. So if y'all keep hopping off the bandwagon I appreciate it because now there's room for me to sit my fat ass down instead of standing up.
