Extremely talented but I don’t see ANY “dawg” in him. None. Even though you have these hybrid TE’s in the NFL, it’s a blue collar position.
I never question whether a player is injured, so nothing to do with 18’.
He simply did not assert himself in 19’ at all. A player of his skill set should make it impossible for the staff to take you off the field. Conditioning cannot be an issue for a skill player. Maybe new voices could have helped him realize what’s on tape is mid day 3 instead of Day 1/early Day 2. I haven’t seen anything that suggests he’s ready to be a pro.
I think he would have been better served coming back and dedicating himself to getting better. Jordan Elliott did what he needed to do. Don’t feel the same about Albert O.
