Style Points

We had a lot of back and forth in this board about this topic before the season started. One camp said that style points don’t matter against cupcakes. The other side said we’re in a new era where a handful of powerful people in a dark smokey room get to pick which programs make the playoffs and which don’t and every single edge is going to matter when it comes down to picking the seven at-large bids…

Looking at the scoreboard after week one, I think we can conclude that the coaches agree that style points are worth playing for.

Even freaking Iowa scored 40. The playoff is a complete paradigm shift in this game. This season is going to be amazing!

NCAA considering big rule changes

Changes would include:
-Applying the football redshirt rule in *all* sports (as in, you could play in a limited number of gamesand still get a redshirt instead of having to sit for the full year)
-Allowing athletes to earn prize money before enrolling in college without jeopardizing their eligibility
-Getting rid of the National Letter of Intent (idk what Dennis Gates is going to do when he can't tweet "Happy NLI Day!" lol)

I THREW 10 PERFECT DEEP PASSES

I threw 10 perfectly placed balls from the lakehouse down to the dock yesterday. Brady cook can’t even connect with the fastest man in the SEC (speedy). McMillan had how many yards and how many TDs last night? I just opened a twisted tea. It’s going to be a long year for Luther but we are still going to beat A&M by double digits. I think we’ll go 11-1. See you in Atlanta.
