#Tigerstyle 2023-2024 Offseason

Another year, another Top 10 preseason ranking and I would argue the #2 recruiting class coming in next year. Oh, another thing, #Tigerstyle has also produced a back-to-back World Champion and undisputed best wrestler in America with Mr. J'den Cox.

2019-2020 is a year of transition. Eierman is taking an Olympic redshirt. Zach Elam will be joining him. That means Grant Leeth and his bionic neck move to 141lb with an unknown at 285.

This isn't the year we threaten the top dogs, BUT it is the year we set the foundation for a national title run in 2020-2021.

Big test today versus Virginia Tech at 11am central on ESPN+.

Some key matches: 125, 149, 157, 165, 184.

I wish I had more time to breakdown matches individual, but our friend Sean Mael at Missouriwrestling.com

OFF TOPIC KC Stadium Stuff....

There was a great interview on 810 yesterday with former councilman Dan Tarwater, who was part of the negotiating team for the new leases back in 2006.

Apparently the Chiefs had an offer on the table from San Antonio, and the Royals were being offered $300M from MLB to contract and just go away.

During the negotiations, the Royals wanted an amphitheater first, then a spinning scoreboard, finally persuaded to do the outfield upgrades that have been such a success. Listening to the interview, it does not sound like the Royal's leadership was very strong. And yet, they were able to get what they wanted... maybe on the backs of the Chiefs? Dan says the two ownership groups did not get along, and from what Dan says it was quite dicey in 2006.

I get the feeling listening to this, and looking at what Sherman said today, KC residents will be in the same situation this coming year... build us a stadium, or we have to look at our options. The Chiefs have shown a commitment to winning, oh heck... of being competitive. I'd have no problem spending on a team that is revitalizing civic pride and getting attention for the city nation wide. The Royals though, other than for a few fluke years, have not shown much of a commitment to anything.

Is it time to cut bait and call the Royals bluff? Or do you hold your nose and build the stadium and wish and hope for the best?

kansas tickets available

I have 6 extra Mizzou v. kansas basketball tickets. One set of 4 and one set of 2. These are all lower level sideline seats and face value was $200/ticket. If you're interested knowing the tickets will not be cheap, let me know what you're looking for and willing to pay. Game is on a Sunday afternoon in Columbia, December 8.

I also have my 2 tickets which are club seats at center court, row 5. The offer for these would really have to blow me away though.

NEW STORY MEN'S BASKETBALL ROTATIONS

I went back through last night's play-by-play to look at the success of each rotation Dennis Gates used.

This is something I've been interested in looking at for a while and I hope you guys are, too. I'll update the chart with the Memphis rotations later this week when I have a day. It took a good few hours to put this all together, so it's something that might not be an immediate thing the next day after the game if I don't have a lot of time.
