My son and I will be attending the Mizzou game next week in Tuscaloosa. We’re flying into Birmingham from Detroit on Friday evening, and we’ll make the drive to Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

The weather forecast for Saturday looks excellent. Sunny with temperatures in the low 80’s.

Late last night I received an update from the service I purchased my tickets through.

Game time has been officially set for 3:30 PM Eastern (2:30 PM Central).

I haven’t seen it posted anywhere yet, but just wanted to pass this information along to any other Mizzou fans making the trip to Tuscaloosa.

Looking forward to a fun game, and hopefully a huge Mizzou victory!

Looked like he ran, albeit gingerly, back to locker room. I'm thinking sprain or something along those lines? Thoughts?

Alabama and Mississippi State are the last two SEC teams Mizzou hasn't beat as conference opponents. Huge win today!

Just wanted to pass along that I’m told Mizzou tried to get back in with him but were denied. If he’s going to flip from Alabama the only school he’d consider is Nebraska.

I slept in a bit today, but here's a look back at all the other action around the SEC yesterday and where the standings sit after Week 8.

My game story against A&M wasn't up to the standard I set for myself. I was rushed and didn't do as good of a job as I know I can. This one is more up to my expectations, hopefully it is for readers, too.

I HATE both programs. Having said that, I don’t want UT to come into the SEC their first year and win the conference. This is the school that destroyed the SWC and the Big 8/12. One of my best buddies went to UT and I wouldn’t be able to stand it if UT won. (As an aside, I was accepted to UT, Indiana, LSU, and Mizzou back in the day. Made the logical choice and went to Mizzou).

A huge Mizzou win against Auburn. Tomorrow is Oct 19th and it happens to be my Birthday. The last time I remember them playing on my Birthday, was in 2013 against Florida. I was there with my brother, and Mauk looked like a rising star on the field. We kicked their ass, and we were on our way to our first SEC East title.

Note: I couldn't remember playing Vandy on Oct 19th 2019. Who could blame me LOL!!! That season sucked ass, and was BO's last year as a HC at Missouri.

The game is my favorite Homecoming activity. Close second is tailgating which seems to raise a level for HC.

Any other favorite homecoming activities I should consider for this weekend? I’m looking for some extra things to do, have family in town and making a weekend of it.

The lack of activity on this site is really amazing.

I can’t even imagine how dead it will be when football season ends.

Class of 2025 four-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers is expected to be back at Missouri on Saturday for an unofficial visit. The second highest-rated Tigers commit took an unofficial visit to Texas A&M on Oct. 5, when the Tigers played against the Aggies in College Station. Rogers gained recent buzz about flipping his commitment, but for now, he'll get another opportunity to talk with coaches and fellow commits in person.

Fellow four-star offensive tackle Jack Lange said he's excited to see Rogers again and talk with other recruits ahead of the Auburn game.

Class of 2026 defensive back Nick Hankins announced an offer from Missouri cornerbacks coach Al Pogue on Saturday. Hankins played 7 on 7 at Missouri this past summer.
