playoff teams

way to early, of of course, but its why we’re here…talk of 5-6 sec teams way too early….notre dame beats usc they are despite north ill…if 11-1 clemson plays 12-0 miami in the acc cg …a clemson win and both get in…a big12 cg of 12-0 iowa st vs 12-0 byu and they both go…add in g5 team and you have 4 at large spots for sec and big 10 combined….highly unlikely but amusing college football stuff…just win

Just a few random thoughts

I've seen quite a few posts regarding Aaron Rowe and folks being down on him. That young man is a certified bucket. His talent just didn't disappear, the team around him and his role changed which forced the young man to approach the game differently. He can't carry a team an entire game, but he's a very special talent.

I don't think it's a forgone conclusion that Drink is going to hit the portal for a QB. If the team makes the playoff, Drink will be able to run Horn out there next season without his job being in jeopardy. Horn, Pyne, Aidan and Matt is a decent QB rook going into next year.

I listened to a podcast on RockM yesterday. They had Coach Matt Cline on as a guest. Very informative break down about the team and how analytics are used regarding team and player.

What Non-Conference Opponents would you like to schedule?

After watching the Sark interview with SVP on ESPN, and watching the LSU-USC game in LV (I live in Baton Rouge the game was on everywhere) it got me thinking about what non conference games would I like to see us play outside of the SEC. Playing some tougher competition in fertile recruiting grounds could benefit us with additional exposure and the tougher early competition would be great preparation for the SEC schedule. I’d do away with 2 FCS caliber games. What teams would you like to see us play if schedules and terms could be worked out? Oklahoma State, Florida State, Miami, TCU, Penn State, Nebraska?
