Javion Butts told MizzouToday he has arrived for his official visit to Missouri in a snow-covered Columbia. He is now en route to his hotel.

Butts, who scheduled his visit after conversations with the staff this past week, will only have a two-day visit, instead of three, due to a scheduling conflict that prevented him from traveling Friday.

FOOTBALL RECRUITING Mizzou visits Waymond Jordan (updated with story)

Waymond Jordan told MizzouToday that Curtis Luper made the trip to see him practice Monday, marking the first time the two met in person.

With Luper traveling back shortly after the practice, the two talked briefly about getting on an official visit to Missouri this weekend. The two parties are still looking into the logistics of splitting a weekend for official visits since Jordan is scheduled to visit UCF starting Friday. The full conversation will be up at 6 a.m. Tuesday.

It's also worth noting that a UCF staffer visited Jordan on Monday as well.

North Carolina commit Julien Horton confirmed to Rivals.com's Adam Friedman that he's taking an official visit to Missouri this weekend.

Horton told MizzouToday he just landed in Columbia, and he’s on his way to see the facilities and hotel.
