I don't really watch any high school football other than a clip here or there but of course follow Mizzou's recruiting closely. For those of you that watch high school football/coaches/scouts how quickly (what age) can you tell a kid will be a D1 prospect? Or in special cases a kid like Jackson Cantwell who's a 5 star from a smaller town like Nixa, MO that isn't going up against competition that he would be in Texas, Florida, Georgia, California, Ohio, etc.
Obviously an inexact science and there are plenty of misses in recruiting but just curious.
