New Mizzou Football Podcast

Hey PM family, just what you're looking for - another podcast! This one is a little unique in that it is intended to take a look back at historical moments in Mizzou Football history.

Ben Arnet of KOMU approached me awhile back about teaming up for a podcast that takes a look at key moments in Mizzou history, and I couldn't resist. Our first episode takes a deep dive into one of my personal favorite games that I was part of - our 2003 win over the nubs. We had fun reminiscing about that game, and hope that you might enjoy taking the trip back in time with us.

With this being our first effort, the only way it's available at this point is with the following link. The hope is we can get this thing to grow and eventually get it to be available on other formats.

Hope you enjoy the show, feel free to send comments or ideas for potential topics we could cover. We aren't lacking for ideas, but it's always interesting to hear from folks as to what interests them.

Thanks!

Another (better) bowl possibility

Hearing some talk that the Gasparilla Bowl in Tampa on Dec 23 could be in play. I had not considered it previously because I thought the Gasparilla picked after the Birmingham. It appears that's not really the case. The Gasparilla could get an SEC team and the Birmingham could get a non-SEC team. They're both ESPN bowls against the AAC so it doesn't really matter.

Some may not view that as better than the Birmingham Bowl, but it's a much better location, it's before Christmas, which I know is something the team likes. So I'd say now the Texas and Gasparilla might be the most likely with the Liberty third.

Don't worry, I'm sure it will change again soon. I'll get you all to the Fiesta Bowl by the weekend.
