For the entire time Biden has been President, the media outside of Fox has in nearly every instance avoided two issues like you would avoid a skunk at the picnic grounds. Those issues are immigration at the southern border and the Hunter Biden/Biden Family business.
Today they joined NYT, Washington Post and other liberal outlets actually discussing Hunter Biden legal issues, his daddy’s vulnerability and for the first time the fiasco on the Southern Border that is about to get orders of magnitude worse.
CBS, NBC, and ABC joined Fox in their Sunday news shows for the first time in discussing an investigation of Hunter on serious crimes and all but I believe Donna Brazille and Juan Williams, both far left democrat political hacks admitted it looks very bad for Hunter. There were other liberal journalists who claimed that Hunter was likely a drug crazed miscreant that trafficked in his family name ..and some quickly added that “Joe wasn’t involved and knew nothing about it”.
The latter is rich, seeing as Joe claimed not to have met with Ukrainian Burisma moguls that he was photographed with and there is an email between the crooked Burisma guys and Hunter setting up said meeting and later an email thanking him for getting to meet and spend time in discussions with the Vice President. But that will come out.
Perhaps knowing that in all the shows the panel members except for Brazile and Williams who said Hunter had not done anything wrong but was a troubled man, all said it’s a big political problem for the President. That’s progress folks…they are much farther along the road from denial that their OT liberal brethe5n.
A similar situation concerned discussion of the Southern border and the mess it is. They said that under the current Covid rules they were sending about 60% of the 7,000 people per day they caught back to Mexico. That doesn’t include the 2000 per day “Gottaways”, those that show up on surveillance and they don’t have the manpower to catch. The estimate is that after May 23 this will go to 18,000 a day claiming asylum and a commensurate increase in gotaways. Even the liberals admitted this is a huge political liability for the Dems. It certainly will spell doom for fall elections for border state candidates like Senator Kelly of Az.
They played a republican ad on one of the shows talking about how these open borders allowing people not sent back or about 5000 a day that are moving throughout the country has enriched the cartels which in turn are responsible for bringing in fentanyl which killed 100,000 Americans last year. It will get much worse politically when the numbers greatly increase. They said that the left opposed all controls on “asylum seekers” (all turning themselves in at the border claim that) unless the republicans will okay citizenship path for all here illegally”. So Joe will claim he is following the science and wants “immigration reform”
Even the liberals didn’t think this would go well for Biden as the border is overwhelmed by people and fentanyl and sure to get a lot of coverage when Title 42 ends and it will be a huge political issue as the campaigns heat up everywhere.
So this week liberal print and broadcast outlets who had been in hiding or denial had a come to Jesus experience about both Hunter and the southern border. The plan to get millions of democrat voters with open borders is likely going to be about as popular as inflation and the Afghanistan withdrawal. These “journalists” are getting in front of a tsunami that is going to sweep away the President and party they helped elect. I don’t know hat CNN or MSNBC did, but suspect will hold on as long as possible.m
