a few thoughts....
1) if Odom is not exciting enough, and his record is not good enough, what about Martin? Mizzou Arena is a ghost town and Sprint Center was empty... how much longer does the AD let that go on?
2) There have been a load of injuries on the football team, and many have griped that the team did not look ready over the last few years... does the change in strength and conditioning have anything to do with that? Did Pay Ivey make that big a difference?
3) What do we want from the next coach? Honestly, I want us to floor out at 7-5 with the norm being 8-4 and ranked in the top 25. That should not be too high an expectation... until his last year, that is where GP had us... then again, GP was one of the best coaches we have had, is that an unfair bar to set?
4) Where is our recruiting ground? It's not StL. teXas seems to have moved on. We are not going to get the best out of Florida or Georgia. I ask because this seems to be one of the top issues the new HC is going to have to address. Even if we lock down Missouri our best will be about equal to the bottom/middle of the teams we want to be competitive with... so where do we go? And how long does it take the new HC to make inroads?
