Was down in Surfside Beach yesterday to tie down some things. I knew I was not staying the night. I have spent one night in a Cat 1 hurricane on the beach and that was not an event to add to my bucket list. I do know they have been without electricity since early this morning. Don't know how things are down there because I can't check my security cameras.
Here in Sugar Land rain was blowing horizontally with wind gusts to 90 mph. Seems like the worst is past. Fortunately, we have a Generac, Centerpoint texted we could be without electricity for the next 1-2 days.
