Character evaluation is tough to judge but we cannot afford that many misses. We also should take more advantage of the Jayhawk conference in Kansas. K-State has taken advantage but we are always banging into some real stars that got away to other scho s O.f course all players must be properly evaluated but for anyone that has looked at where the players come from that play in the local (Kansas) junior colleges it is surprising Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida , etc. I am not saying we take ten players a year but 2 to 4 players that can contribute or even star is reasonable. Evaluation is the key.
