Do many of you know many people personally that are flipping their presidential votes from the last election? If so which way? Of course this is not scientific or a good basis, but I was wondering about personal conversations folks have had vs what I have observed. On the flip side the conversations I have had I see a crazy amount of flow signs/flags which would seem to point in the opposite direction (towards Trump) ( in Eastern Jackson Cty).
In my case I am yet to see anyone that voted for HIllary say they are voting Trump, but have now seen multiple flips that won't vote for Trump and am curious if others see the same. On the flip side I have seen about 2 BIden signs and 7,560 Trump signs, way more that last time, so seeing the enthusiasm factor high there.
The flip voters from Trump to not Trump include the following:
A coach, who thought it would be good vote for an outsider but was not happy with his race rhetoric. (independent)
A CEO (and son) who lean republican of a medium sized business, who admit while it might help their business they can't reconcile the man for it.
A hard core republican who does demolition/construction who isn't sure if he won't vote or will vote for Biden who has never not voted republican... because he's embarrassed by him.
An Anesthesiologist who voted Trump and now hates him (no explanation given)-independent leans republican.
A CEO of a large business, worth a lot, albeit on the KS side, who is actually going to run for Senate in the near future as a Republican, who can't vote for him, race rhetoric/lack of science was his major problem-this man is a minority.
A banker in Joplin, who is a Republican, but can't stand him. (his dad used to be a R politician in the area)..he said he won't vote for him again "because I have a conscience"
SO I have had 7 people quietly tell me they are flipping that way and none the other at this point.....I found that odd and interesting.
This is a smallll sample, I understand that, but I'm not going out polling people and try to steer clear of most political talk, it accomplishes little, but I was curious if this was a an outlier or others have seen the same thing, or the opposite trend (people flipping to Trump) but it makes we wonder if this won't be a close race at all, because none of those folks will be putting out a sign/flag and it would probably shock those around them the way they are voting, plus I found it odd that I have not heard of one person changing for Trump (personally). Maybe since he is already a majority in MO? and I know that there have been a rush of new Republican voters in some states as well.
