I’m curious what you Anti Trumper, Biden loving Specimens think about Biden’s media approach and the media’s responsibility and whether they are doing their job in being skeptical of those in power and holding their feet to the fire.
Yesterday after Biden reiterated his laundry list of his campaign on a teleprompter
suggesting it was policy he would move to adopt ..most wide ranging and big spending, he took 5 questions.
Someone off camera selected 5 members of the media who stood and read a question as though it was their part in the 3rd grade Christmas play. Four of the questions revolved around what he thought Trump should do or what he thought about what Trump had said. The fifth was about his Thanksgiving plans.
Then the person in charge of selecting the questions said “Thank you, that will be all”. The old man then took his mask and toddered off the stage. No shouted questions ..dead silence.
Given almost no press availability during this campaign do you find the lack of curiosity of the press about sweeping policy changes, budget busting proposals, the repudiation of the socialist trend by the results down ballot, a question about will his son be involved in his government or a businessman dealing with foreign governments during his administration?
Isn’t a probing press desire able for both sides or just one?
