I know a lot of you have been thru it, so you can relate.
Thursday night our baby boy graduated from high school, and then went off to his all-night senior lock-in. He got home at 3:30am.
Four hours later, we jumped in our vehicles and headed out for the 10 hour drive from Dallas to Columbia. Maybe it was just the lack of sleep, but leaving the only home he’s ever known turned out to be quite an emotional moment for both of us.
It’s been a great weekend getting him settled in to his new apartment and seeing how much he’s loving it. This is something he’s dreamed of for a long time, and it’s so awesome to see him be able to experience it. All we can do now is pray. We’ve done our best, and tomorrow we’ll say our goodbyes and turn him over to the University of Missouri for the next chapter of his life.

Sunday Update: Great breakfast and a few pics at the columns, then short & sweet goodbyes at The Todd. A couple of other players were saying their goodbyes too, so I think it helped them all keep it together somewhat.
