Not much going on today but here’s what I got.
1. Freshmen earn numbers
OL Logan Reichert and OL Brandon Solis earned their No. 66 and No. 78 jerseys, respectively.
2. Blocked FG
CB Kris Abrams-Draine blocked Harrison Mevis’ 51-yard FG attempt to start practice. Yesterday, Gabe mentioned to me how close he was to getting one and he did today.
He came off of Mevis’ left side and got a pretty good hit on the ball. I’m not sure it passed the line of scrimmage and if it did it wasn’t very far.
3. Notable absences
Didn’t see safeties Jaylon Carlies or Joseph Charleston for second day in a row. No sign of LB Chad Bailey either.
