Since it’s evidently been missed, here’s what was witnessed first hand from just behind the sideline today:
Before the game he had a noticeable limp.
In the first quarter he limped straight into the tent and was worked on for quite a while.
He missed the ensuing possession.
They removed him from punts thereafter and I have to assume only replaced him because Lovett couldn’t field them.
After every single possession he was on the table being wrapped and rewrapped. He was limping every defensive possession.
He got that magic spray and visited the tent at least two more times in the second half.
It’s his left ankle. Idk what it is, but if you’re wondering why he’s not getting separation, well, there you go.
