I know public universities are obligated to comply with FOIA requests in a lot of cases. Are conferences required to comply with the requests? Not specifically to yesterday’s game but that is what made me think about it. It seems like every time a confrence would benifit by a certain team winning the calls go that teams way.

I would be very interested to see any communication between the confrence office and the officials. I doubt they put anything in writing, but I think we got Bernie’d. You know your party or confrence thinks one candidate or team has a better shot of winning it all so they bend the rules to benifit the team that is expected to win.

I have watched dozens of games I had no rooting interest in and watched the more highly ranked team get all the close calls.
