Many on here, me among them, fancied hiring Tom Crean after the departure of Kim Anderson. He seemed to be the biggest name available and had been successful at Marquette, if not so much at Indiana.
But I remember a sports writer who covered Mizzou saying that Crean was an absolute asshole, and that we should avoid him at all costs.
i don’t know if he’s an asshole, but he is an even worse coach than CM. He had a 14 point lead on a rudderless MU team and still got blown out. He’ll soon be available again, but he won’t be in my hot board.
