Yesterday I came across the coolest show on ESPN+. It’s called “Detail”. Only 22 minutes.
Peyton Manning analyzes Mac Jones as a rookie QB for the Patriots.
Peyton goes through about 6-8 plays in great detail. How the receivers are supposed to drive their defenders away from the intended receiver. He went through some of the hand signals the QB uses. Various defenses called and how Mac Jones changed the play at the line of scrimmage.
I’ve always wondered why the QBs made certain hand signals. I don’t know all of them, but at least I now know 3-4.
I actually watched it twice, I thought it was so interesting.
Call me a nerd, but I thought I’d share it and maybe someone else would like it.
