I am very interested to hear the complaint.
As Sev has correctly pointed out that Voter ID laws have been used in the past to stop minority groups from voting. I think he brought up Alabama. The big issue was 2 parts in Alabama, they passed the Voter ID bill, then shut down the DMVs in largely minority areas. Both together in combination were used to make it harder for minorities to vote. I agree with Sev on that point.
Only the first prong is here on Georgia case, so I am interested to read the complaint to see what kind of move the DOJ is claiming here.
