What role does $$ play in our ability to hire a top coach? If we tell ourselves that basketball means more to Mizzou than other SEC schools, then shouldn’t we step up and be willing to invest more than other SEC programs towards a coach? Could an additional -$1-2M per year be the difference between winning and mediocrity? If so, pay it.
