Agreed. In addition, just in general the 11 seed beats teh 6 seed about 40% of the time, so it happens quite a bit. I do like our matchup though if Mitchell is 100%.

Mizzou could have benefitted by zigging when conventional wisdom says zag. And comparing Ben McCollum to Kim Anderson because they are both d2 coaches is like comparing a filet and a pile of shit because they both come from a 🐄 Happy with the guy we've got, but will always wonder what would have happened if mizzou would have taken a chance three years ago.

I really can't believe what I am reading on here. Yes, we could lose. Yes, Drake is a good team. Yes, 6s lose to 11s almost every year... but let's get a grip. IF Mizzou were in another conference we would easily have won enough to be a 3 seed. I am not saying this is a guaranteed win... but let's not get nervous until it is time. The experts picking Drake? It is a sexy upset pick... Mizzou closed out the year poorly (to teams much better than Drake) and won one in the SEC tourney before getting bounced (by maybe the best team in the nation)... perspective is important. And Drake by 10? Check what they are smoking!

I see Mizzou winning comfortably, not a route. And I see a tough matchup against TTech. But clear those hurdles and we get kU in round 3... and I really don't believe they are any better now than they were then!

yes, but most sec teams have multiple guys that size or a bigger guy helping, when mitchell has gotten a chance to go inside vs non 7 footers he tends to dominate
