By showing him our full arsenal of 4 years passes against a BS team? I don't understand what he is selling. Come here and set offense back 50 years? And with Horn in attendance as well. I am sure Sam loves the 4 yard dump off. I understand that this team has limitations. I get that the O-line isn't close to elite but you have to run a real offense if you ever plan on getting better. Badie isn't going to run for 200 yards against SEC teams. We have to be able to get the ball down the field somehow. I really think the receivers are getting a bad rap. Outside of a drop by Luper, when he fell down on what looked to my untrained eyes to be a badly under thrown ball, they looked fine.
We have speed at wideout with Cooper, Lovett and Hester and Luper. Dove has shown he can make contested catches as has Keke Chism.
I really like Drink's charisma and his ability to sell. But if he was the recruit in the stands yesterday there really wasn't much to hang your hat on. This was North Texas we just played. When you drop back over 30 times you throw for more than 160 yards.
We basically just showed two of the highest recruits in the country what dump off U looks like. That's just a bad business strategy.
