Freshman tight end Brett Norfleet has earned rave reviews since arriving on campus in June. Chojnacki visited with his former four-star tight end during Mizzou’s recent 7-on-7 tournament and came away impressed with his development. The 6-foot-7 tight end is up to 245 pounds with a few more weeks before the start of preseason camp.
“I would be highly surprised if Brett's on that redshirt list,” he said. “Just talking to Coach Drink and Coach (Erik) Link Drink, the excitement they have for what Brett did in just a little bit of time that they’ve had to evaluate him, I could see him really taking over that tight end spot.”
