So When I saw Dave Matter's post on twitter last night when Caleb Love said after his visit he called Cuonzo to tell him about his decision to essentially commit to UNC and this was apparently long before he announced. I thought this was strange since he had said in an interview a few days ago that he was "50/50". Obviously, it was a lie and he was probably doing it just to create suspense and get all the local attention. Now, I have seen a lot of people pointing this out (Including Myself) and being really pissy about it. That being said, I think it was actually a sign of respect to keep Mizzou "in it" for that long and I feel like he really liked the school. To those who are unhappy I say, No one was complaining when Jamie Pettway threw the Tennessee hat, or when Maurice Massey ditched the Ilini shirt. Just because the recruitment didn't go our way doesn't mean the (18 year old!) kid is a jerk for dragging it out and having his moment. Cuonzo's efforts in this will go a long way in coming years.
