(yes, I'm transcribing a ton of interviews from today)

Woods was asked what they're doing that hasn't been done here before in recruiting. I think this is a pretty good explanation of recruiting this state:

"I don’t know what they’ve done here in the past. I do know that the things we’ve said we were going to do when we got here, we’ve done. We’ve put major emphasis on doing that. We’ve continued to bore into what this state ought to be and what this school ought to be inside of it and how it can represent everybody on all four corners. I know that there’s four states within this state and having a chance to pull everyone together and have everyone pulling in the same direction, certainly we’ve made an impact. But to answer your question, it’s a grassroots effort to get back in there with the high school coaches, get back in there with young prospects. You’ve got to create fans. There was a quote by a guy that we were recruiting early on that said something about him when he was in third grade at a book fair, picked up a Missouri poster and hung it in his room and you can imagine, we got to get posters in kids rooms. You know what I mean? So we can make sure that five, ten years from now, they understand where it is that they want to play."
