Let's get this out of the way first: This doesn't erase last week. It might honestly make it sting a little more. This is a lot closer to the team we thought we were going to see than the one we saw last week. It's going to take a lot of wins to erase what happened last week. But you can't change the past and this is the best case scenario given that you can't change last week's outcome.
*Missouri has 100 yards in penalties. If you want to complain about something, there you go. The team record is 179 penalty yards against Cal in 1972.
*Wyoming would beat West Virginia badly.
*This is a different defense. They're playing well against the run. Joshuah Bledsoe and Tyree Gillespie look like good safeties. They're picking the right times to be aggressive and blitz. They're an eyelash away from five first half interceptions.
*Kelly Bryant is closer to what you guys thought he was (really really good) all offseason than what I thought he was (good, but not great). He doesn't have to run for ton of yardage to have his legs impact the game. He's fantastic at keeping plays alive and then finding somebody open. I'm open to the idea this offense will be better than last year's.
*The Tigers have a chance at another team record. The most first downs they've ever had in a game is 41 at Tennessee in 2016. They have 20 today.
*Welcome back Larry Rountree and Albert O. Good to have you.
*This game is over. I'm not going to actually start writing yet, but it's over. Enjoy the second half.
