Michigan offered him, alot of teams wanted him. Does anyone really think if Lock a year or two in under Harbaugh he would be anything but great. People act like he can't play, but a huge part of that is throwing him to the wolves before hed been coached up. He played on two of the least talented/experienced offensive teams Mizzou has had in the past ten years and still says all the right things and works to get better. I still believe he will be a top SEC QB, but he has alot to overcome. Unfortunately we had no one better than him for him to sit behind. If he was at Michigan he could be leading a top 4 team. He's got the ability.
