First time back this weekend since 2017. Incredible time seeing the basketball arena and the football stadium full. Basketball outcome was trash but the rest was great: tailgates, the game atmospheres, and the feeling of being home at Mizzou with old friends, family, and new friends too.
Big thanks to all of y’all that fill these venues every game good or bad while the rest of us can’t always be there. Also big thanks to all of you on this board that make me laugh, make me think, make me mad, but most importantly help connect me to this university and AD while I’m living away. Being on this board this past year is a big reason I decided to come back home this weekend. Heading back to Tennessee with a smile on my face and can’t wait to go to work to talk shit all week long to all the VFL’s in my life. I will be wearing black and gold every single day. Love y’all.
