I copied this from the Mizzou tailgating Facebook page....
"Below is an excerpt from an interview with Sam Horn. I went to high school with a couple of blue-chip recruits, but I never saw any of the visiting coaches ever do anything like this.
Ya gotta love our Coach Drink!
Enjoy…
Q: I heard about one of your games this year that Drinkwitz attended and he got a little too close to the field? What happened there?
A: It wasn’t until after the game when I heard what actually happened. So the game that he came to the team we were playing wasn’t very good at all. Everybody knew we were going to blow them out. And we kept to our RPO game (run-pass option) and I kept throwing it. But the refs would keep calling illegal man downfield. We’d look back on film and we weren’t even close to having an illegal man downfield. We saw one ref even after I threw the ball he watched the receiver catch it then looked back at the linemen, and of course by then they’re going to be 5 yards downfield and then he’d throw the flag. So (Drinkwitz) was kind of getting on the refs for that. Then he went to the line judge when we were on the 2-yard line and said, ‘You can’t call illegal man downfield on the 2-yard line.’ He looked at him and said, ‘Get out of here.’ He thought he was joking at first but he was serious. And when I heard that, I was like, “Wow, that’s Coach Drink for you.”
