Maybe this has been discussed already this week (if so, sorry I've been traveling a ton for work), but IMO this game is setting up as THE most important game of the season.
After Florida and three straight conference losses by single digits, I think most fans (and PM'ers) had written off any chance for a bowl game and the "Stinky Drinky" comments were deserved and coming fast....the season appeared to be heading to near full on DUMPSTER FIRE status.
I don't think anyone is singing from the mountain tops at 6-6 but, wow, that looked damn near impossible a few weeks ago. IMO, a win this week (combined with one vs. NMSU) very much resets the tone and momentum around the program going into the off season. I think it shows Drink and the squad didn't quit, righted the ship and figured out what works well enough to get W's. That's huge for recruiting, keeping guys out of the transfer portal and lifting fan morale going into 2023. thoughts?
