I figured out how to get a CCW permit in California - not as difficult as everyone says!

All you need to do is be the global chief of security for Apple, Inc., and bribe the county sheriff with $70,000 worth of iPads.

Another thing you can do is own a suite for the San Jose Sharks games and hand that over to the sheriff for a re-election party.

And people wonder why we emphasize, "Shall NOT be infringed." It's because if we didn't, only the rich would have guns. States that have "may issue" CCW permitting processes must be forced into becoming "shall issue" states. "Erodes public confidence" doesn't even begin to cover it. California rejects nearly every permit application it receives except in a few isolated counties. Unless, of course, you donate to re-election funds of government officials or have a family member who works at the sheriff's department.

This isn't freedom.
