Which it clearly appears is the path currently (SEC and the Big 10/pac12 ex pats)
It seems the whole playoff system is going to need to be redone
Looking at the transfer portal thus far - most SEC players seem to be wanting to stay in SEC. This may lead to more of an nfl-lite schedule and the champs could be 10-2 or even worse every year as parity becomes more common.
A whole bunch of 10-2 or 9-3 teams having to deal with an undefeated or several 11-1 lesser conference teams seems like a likely result
