Opinion | The Real Divide in America Is Between Political Junkies and Everyone Else (Published 2020)
Most Americans view politics as two camps bickering endlessly and fruitlessly over unimportant issues.
They were on a 538 podcast last Thursday and the discussion was interesting to me - the article basically summarizes their position and the discussion from the pod. My natural inclination is to agree with their premise, as in my experience, peoples’ beliefs are more similar to others than they believe they are.
If you like the sort of thing, the pod is a worthwhile 30-minutes.
