Movies are more spectacular than ever with breathtaking CGI and crazy props, but I can't but help the writing/acting has suffered greatly. Shows that don't rely on CGI (Succession for instance) are still great and do well with plots and character development, but action movies especially seem devoid of plot. It's almost like watching porn, 5 minutes in you want to turn it off cause you're done. Rehashes and reboots seem to dominate Hollywood and original ideas are few and far between. Everyone seems to be more interested in modernizing movies instead of developing original content. I have Superhero fatigue to say the least.
