Everyone remember the excitement / worry about traveling to Bloomington for the out of conference game in 2013....
There was a ton of apprehensive about that game.... I remember worrying about IU’s offense and all their returning offensive talent. Their head coach was viewed as an offensive mastermind. Sound familiar.
Watching Mizzou dominate that game on both sides of the ball was a thing of beauty. It obviously was a preview of things to come that season.
Fast forward to the Purdue game this year.... The Purdue game is huge on many fronts for Odom and this team. If we expect to get to 8+, I personally think we can get to 10+, we HAVE to win this game.
We will know about this team post that game.
Now, of course, it doesn’t explain the 2014 loss to IU, but that season was strange in many levels.
