Karrissa will run in the first heat of the 5K in the World Championships tomorrow at 10:25am our time. She is seeded 6th in her heat and 12th overall. The top 5 from each heat and the next 5 fastest times qualify for the finals. The ladies near her are all with in seconds of her best time. The heat in Doha, Qatar will certainly be a big factor. It's just exciting that she in running in this meet in her first year as a pro. Just an FYI for those who may have followed her at Mizzou.
