KC Sports Anchor Icon Al Wallace Speaks at the Tiger Club of KC

The Tiger Club of KC kicked off the 2019 portion of the school year with Al Wallace as our guest. Al recently retired after 30+ years with the sports department of WDAF Fox 4 in Kansas City.

A graduate of Texas Tech University, Al came to KC in 1985. In addition to his sports anchoring duties at Fox 4, Al has worked with the NFL draft, KPRS radio and Chiefs players’ radio programs, and ESPN and its Big 12 basketball coverage. He has been recognized as one of the ‘Most Influential African Americans’ in Kansas City.

About the Tiger Club
The Tiger Club of Kansas City is exclusively dedicated to supporting Mizzou Athletics in the Greater Kansas City area through information programming, fundraising and social interaction.

The Club meets each Tuesday of the school year at the Westport Flea Market Bar & Grill. Lunch begins at 11:30 with the program beginning at noon. Our Tuesday, January 15 guest will be Joel Goldberg of the Fox Sports KC Royals broadcast team.
