A read and react defense by its very nature reduces the element of ATTACKING (nastiness). TLOS, SACKS, Fumble hits, busted O plays are all reduced by lack of MOVEMENT forward toward ball carrier/passer. With the reduction of these types of plays comes the loss of excitement and EMOTION by players, sideline and fans.. ATTACK, BLITZ, WIN, IMO
