COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Athletics, in partnership with Opendorse, launched the Mizzou Marketplace Tuesday, the Tigers’ official Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) marketplace for student-athletes.

The new and accessible platform will support Mizzou student-athletes by offering fans, brands and sponsors a single, streamlined platform to easily find, pitch, book and compensate Mizzou student-athletes for their NIL services.

Student-athletes can seamlessly review opportunities and accept deals, that will be automatically processed through the Opendorse platform to ensure compliance with state law and NCAA policy. Opendorse is a nationwide NIL leader and marketplace technology company in the student-athlete endorsement industry.

“With the addition of the Mizzou Marketplace, we are further advancing and equipping our student-athletes with the proper resources to maximize their NIL endeavors,” said Brandon Lee, Assistant Athletics Director for NIL. “We encourage Mizzou supporters – fans, brands, sponsors, donors – to take advantage of the Mizzou Marketplace to connect and partner with our student-athletes on compliant NIL opportunities.”

“This is a win for everyone involved and we appreciate our partner, Opendorse, for helping to make this a reality,” Will Kava, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Governance said. “It’s another great example of Mizzou supporting its student-athletes and the creation of our own marketplace allows any person, brand or company to easily connect with any of our student-athletes for permissible NIL opportunities.”

All current Mizzou student-athletes can be found in the Mizzou Marketplace where each has created an individual profile to showcase their own unique preferences, interests and online channels.

“Missouri is all in on helping student-athletes capitalize on their NIL,” said Opendorse CEO Blake Lawrence. “Today's launch of their NIL Marketplace is the next step to maximizing opportunities for every athlete. Now, any fan or brand can confidently offer compliant NIL deals to their favorite Missouri student-athletes in just seconds."
