So I own small company (34 employees)....construction trade. Two skilled tradesmen who work for us have been home sick with fever, sore throat and cough.....in an effort to do my part, I’ve stayed in communication with both of them since Monday . Both asked yesterday to come back to work today...still coughing but feeling a little better. In an abundance of caution, I asked both of them to go to the doctor, see if they could get tested and cleared before returning to the field to work. Both came back with the same story......they had gone to their doctor......both of them exhibited some of the signs of coronavirus, but neither were ill enough or their symptoms were not severe enough to warrant hospitalization. And you can only get tested for Coronavirus if you’ve been hospitalized......I did not know this. One was in Kansas and the other in Missouri. The reason given is there are just not enough tests.....so, although the deaths are probably overstated by percentage as a result of not enough testing, I’d guess the number of cases is woefully understated. I had no choice but to ask them to quarantine at home until they are five days symptom free. As a government, we still seem woefully unprepared to manage the true outbreak of this disease.

just curious if anyone else has experienced anything similar.
