Highs and Lows abound from the weekend, but I still had a great time in COMO and I love my Tigers. Just looking at the sheer size (height and builds) of the Mens BB players Friday night it's clear they've been in the weight room since March. I can't wait to see them in action. The new guys looked physically ready to jump in and play too. Didn't really get to see them do much, but they all pass the eyeball test.

FB game hurt.....I felt like we competed and were physically able to match up with the always physically talented Bayou Bengals. Too many mistakes to overcome, but I feel really good about this team and where it's headed. We went toe to toe with a traditional power and left the place feeling like we gave it away. That's actually a good thing in the grand scheme of it all. I left the stadium bummed out with the way it ended and headed back to my parking spot to fire up the black stone. I wasn't really in the mood to cook, but what the heck.....that's what we do. To make matters worse, my TV got knocked over and busted in the parking lot after the game. It was an accident, but still sucked!!!!! I drove home in an extra good mood yesterday.

Anyway, I'll get a new TV and the Tigers will keep getting better and will win a bunch more games this year!

I did see 2 total strangers in LSU gear park near my spot yesterday. It was a father and son from Louisiana that had tix for the game. I invited them over to our tailgate and they hung out with us before and after the game. I have gone to several SEC road games and folks have always been really nice to my wife and I so I decided to do the same. They are season ticket holders at LSU and have seen some serious talent there. Both were impressed and surprised at Mizzou's athleticism in multiple areas. They were very complimentary of the facilities and COMO in general.
